Superfluidity
Version 1.0.0 · Updated 2026-07-30
CORE DEFINITION
At extremely low temperatures, certain fluids (such as liquid helium) lose all viscosity (zero friction). They can flow without resistance, even climbing up the walls of a container and flowing out, never stopping.
SCAFFOLDING EFFECT
Reduce cognitive load
A metaphor for the ideal state of zero friction. When information flow or capital flow enters a "superfluid state" (e.g., DeFi, decentralized networks), traditional barriers (walls, regulations, intermediaries) become completely ineffective. It also metaphorically represents the state of flow, where actions no longer consume willpower.
Anchor fast decisions
Superfluids (such as ultra-low-temperature liquid helium) have zero viscosity, can flow through capillaries without friction, produce quantum vortices, and climb up container walls; they are macroscopic quantum phenomena. They are related to Bose-Einstein condensation.
