CORE DEFINITION

A dialogue method proposed by David Bohm: suspend judgment, bracket assumptions, speak equally, and let meaning "flow" in the group (dialogue originally means "logos passing through"). Scaffolding role: free flow of thought. Different from debate (persuading others) and discussion (making decisions), the purpose of Bohm Dialogue is collective exploration and emergence of new understanding.
