Three Powers / Three Powers Structure

INTRODUCTION
English translation pending.
CORE DEFINITION
A traditional Chinese cosmological framework that organizes reality into three powers: heaven, representing natural law and timing; earth, representing resources and conditions; and humanity, representing agency and choice. Its core proposition is that any undertaking can be assessed along these three axes, and that the human position is neither passive nor omnipotent but participatory, able to work with timing and terrain rather than against them. The qualifier is that the three are interdependent, so analyzing them separately misses the interaction.
SCAFFOLDING EFFECT
Reduce cognitive load
- Timing read: assess whether the trend and moment actually favor the undertaking at all. - Terrain read: inventory the resources and environmental conditions you genuinely have available. - Agency read: decide what your own choices and continued effort can still change.
Anchor fast decisions
Outcomes depend on factors the actor controls and factors the actor does not, and treating either as the whole story produces systematic error. Separating timing, conditions, and agency lets the actor identify where leverage actually exists: align with timing, adapt to terrain, and spend effort only where human action changes the result.
