The fallacy of mistakenly projecting one's own uncertainty about the world (lack of information) onto the world itself as randomness (physical property). Or taking one's subjective judgment (the map) as objective reality (the territory).

Distinguish ignorance from randomness. When you feel the market is "unpredictable," is it because the market is inherently random, or because your model is poor? Admitting "I don't know" is closer to science than claiming "it's metaphysics."
