CORE DEFINITION

The core methodology of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), used to develop new products or processes. It consists of five phases: - D (Define): Define - Clarify project goals and customer needs- M (Measure): Measure - Quantify customer needs and determine key quality characteristics (CTQ)- A (Analyze): Analyze - Evaluate design alternatives and select the best design concept- D (Design): Design - Detail the design of the product/process- V (Verify): Verify - Verify that the design meets customer requirements.
