CORE DEFINITION
Attention: Arouse curiosity. Relevance: What does this have to do with me? Confidence: I believe I can do it. Satisfaction: I gain something after completing it. Scaffolding role: The recipe for learning motivation. If students/users are not motivated to learn, one of these four components is at fault. For example, if it's too difficult, Confidence suffers; if it seems useless, Relevance is missing.
SCAFFOLDING EFFECT

The recipe for learning motivation. If students/users are not motivated to learn, one of these four components is at fault. For example, if it's too difficult, Confidence suffers; if it seems useless, Relevance is missing.
Anchor fast decisions
Based on the 'four motivational factors'. If any of Attention, Relevance, Confidence, or Satisfaction is missing, learning or conversion fails; the four factors are a necessary and sufficient set for motivation.
