Frequency Hopping
Version 1.0.0 · Updated 2026-07-30
CORE DEFINITION
The transmitter and receiver rapidly and synchronously change the transmission frequency according to a predetermined sequence. This makes communication extremely difficult to interfere with or intercept, because an attacker does not know which channel the signal will be on in the next moment.
SCAFFOLDING EFFECT
Reduce cognitive load
Dynamic anti-interference. In a highly competitive or noisy environment, do not stick to one channel (positioning/channel). Stay flexible and quickly switch your 'frequency' (tactics/track) so that opponents and noise are always one step behind you.
Anchor fast decisions
The transmitter and receiver rapidly switch the carrier frequency according to a pseudo-random sequence, spreading the signal over a wide frequency band. The mechanism is 'spread spectrum': interference or interception at a single frequency point is only effective for a very short segment, thus providing anti-interference and anti-interception capabilities.
