CORE DEFINITION
Refers to the "raw feel" within subjective conscious experience. For example, you can describe the wavelength of red, but not the "feeling of seeing red" itself; you can explain the neural transmission of pain, but not the "pain sensation" itself. This is the "hard problem" that physicalism struggles to explain.
