CORE DEFINITION

Proposed by Petty and Cacioppo. Persuasion has two routes: the central route (Central Route, thoughtful, logical, durable but effortful) and the peripheral route (Peripheral Route, based on mood/appearance/celebrity endorsement, quick but changeable).
