Unconditional Basic Income, abbreviated as UBI, also known as Universal Basic Income or Basic Income, refers to a periodic cash payment given to every citizen or member without conditions, eligibility restrictions, or means testing, distributed by the government or organizations to meet people's basic living needs, including food, housing, education, healthcare, utilities, and other essential expenses, thereby ensuring economic security and realizing basic human rights.
