CORE DEFINITION
Add a small amount of hot-natured medicine to cold-natured medicine, or vice versa; or take hot medicine cold, and cold medicine hot. Used when the condition causes rejection (like repels like).

Invisible coating. When a patient with 'true cold, false heat' rejects hot medicine (vomits as soon as it enters), cool the hot medicine before drinking (physical disguise), or add a bit of pig bile (cold-natured adjuvant) to deceive the body's defense system so the medicine can enter the stomach.
Anchor fast decisions
An argumentation technique: instead of directly proving A, prove that 'if not A, then contradiction or worse outcome', thereby indirectly proving A. Often used when direct proof is impossible.
