CORE DEFINITION
Refers to the phenomenon where a patient's spontaneous circulation suddenly recovers after cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is stopped. It usually occurs a few minutes after a doctor has declared death.

In project management or entrepreneurship, when you declare a project failed, stop all investment (CPR), and prepare for liquidation, sometimes the business may experience a brief spontaneous rebound because of the removal of human interference (over-resuscitation). But this is usually not a resurrection, but the last opportunity to exit.
Anchor fast decisions
The Lazarus sign refers to transient spontaneous reflexes or movements that appear after withdrawal of life support, which can be easily mistaken for recovery. It reminds us not to interpret spinal reflexes as evidence of regaining consciousness.
