CORE DEFINITION

A timeline model established by Zhang Zhongjing in the Shanghan Lun. After being attacked by cold pathogens, diseases transmit inward in the order of Taiyang → Yangming → Shaoyang → Taiyin → Shaoyin → Jueyin (either sequentially or by skipping stages).
